SUMMARY:
Merit Services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee our clients diverse portfolio of projects in Midtown. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project success by ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution and successful outcomes.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project updates, progress reports, and issue resolution.
- Monitor project performance, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing clear communication on project progress, milestones, and key deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Continuously evaluate project processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance project management methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects as a Senior Project Manager, preferably within the construction or industrial sectors.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
