Merit Services is seeking a skilled and innovative Business Technology Analyst to join our clients dynamic team in Toronto. As a Business Technology Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements, translating them into technology solutions.
- Analyze and document current business processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies on emerging technologies, evaluating their potential to meet business needs.
- Define and document functional requirements, system specifications, and use cases for technology projects.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and provide support during system implementations, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Monitor and analyze technology trends and industry best practices, providing recommendations to enhance business processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on technology systems and applications.
- Support change management efforts, assisting in the adoption and optimization of technology solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on technology matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Technology Analyst or similar role, driving technology initiatives in a business context.
- Solid understanding of business processes and their integration with technology solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in documenting business requirements, use cases, and system specifications.
- Experience in conducting user acceptance testing and supporting system implementations.
- Knowledge of technology trends and emerging technologies, with an ability to evaluate their applicability to business needs.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
