SUMMARY:

Join Merit Services’ client as a Quality Control Technician in Vaughan and become an essential part of our team in ensuring that our safety, health, and environmental objectives are met with no incidents. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our exceptional quality standards. We are looking for a Quality Control Technician who is highly detail-oriented, articulate, and dedicated to delivering excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform comprehensive quality control reviews.
  • Document and analyze data to identify patterns and areas for improvement, and utilize this information to enhance product quality.
  • Develop and implement effective quality control methods to optimize product quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with production teams to address quality issues and provide solutions to improve processes.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments to ensure adherence to established quality control protocols, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets.
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of quality control techniques and tools, and remain up-to-date with advancements in the field.
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Previous experience with statistical analysis and computer programming would be advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
