SUMMARY:
Merit Services Ltd. is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team and work on behalf of our client in Toronto. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering complex projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline while meeting the highest quality standards..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from project initiation to closure, ensuring all project objectives are met.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, while considering project goals and client requirements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Track project budget and expenditures, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, provide project updates to stakeholders, and resolve any project-related challenges or conflicts.
  • Manage project documentation, including project schedules, progress reports, change requests, and final deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and safety guidelines throughout the project duration.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering projects of varying complexities.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards project goals.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools to facilitate project planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
