RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing the complete payroll process for our company, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Preparing and distributing paychecks, coordinating deposit statements, and generating payroll reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and provincial payroll laws and regulations.
  • Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and correct.
  • Reconciling payroll accounts and resolving any discrepancies to ensure accurate and complete records.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and avoid any potential issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll laws and regulations.
