SUMMARY:
Merit Services Ltd. is actively seeking an experienced and meticulously organized Expediter to join one of our esteemed clients. In this critical role, the Expediter will bear the responsibility of ensuring that orders are delivered to customers in a timely and precise manner. This involves coordinating between the kitchen staff and the front of house, efficiently managing the flow of dishes, and guaranteeing that every order aligns with our high standards of quality. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate effective communication between kitchen and front of house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor the progress of each order, proactively communicating any delays or issues to the appropriate parties.
- Maintain a pristine and well-organized workspace, fostering an efficient workflow.
- Assist with essential food preparation tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in an Expediter role or similar capacity within a high-paced restaurant setting.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
