SUMMARY:
Merit Services is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate for our client. The incumbent will be responsible for of actualizing and monitoring quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with government regulations and measures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform customary quality checks on all cannabis items, counting bloom, concentrates, and edibles, to guarantee compliance with administrative prerequisites and company benchmarks.
- Create and actualize standard working strategies (SOPs) for quality control, counting item examining, testing, and documentation.
- Quality control documentation, counting bunch records, the test comes about, and item labelling.
- Collaborate with the generation group to distinguish and resolve quality issues in a convenient and effective way.
- Remain up-to-date with industry patterns, administrative changes, and quality control.
- Help with administrative compliance reviews and assessments, and keep up a careful understanding of state and government directions.
- Oversee connections with third-party research facilities and guarantee exact testing of all cannabis items.
- Prepare generation staff on quality control methods and guarantee compliance with company arrangements and strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as science, chemistry, or agricultural science.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the cannabis industry
- Solid understanding of quality control standards, counting item inspecting, testing, and documentation
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to cannabis generation and quality control.
- Excellent consideration of detail and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Capacity to work freely and collaboratively.
- Capacity to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
