SUMMARY:

Merit Services is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Trainer for our client. The incumbent will instruct sales staff on using proficient sales strategies, providing excellent customer service, and gaining extensive product knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and execute education courses for sales staff about efficient selling tactics, customer support, and a comprehensive understanding of products.
  • Develop instructional materials such as slide decks, pamphlets, and digital sources to facilitate training initiatives.
  • Assess the proficiency of training programs using metrics, evaluations, and feedback.
  • Offer guidance and evaluations to sales staff to enhance their efficiency and meet sales objectives.
  • Work with sales managers and other relevant parties to recognize requirements for training and build appropriate training programs.
  • Keep yourself informed about the newest tendencies, advancements, and most effective strategies in the realm of automobile sales and education.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in automotive sales or training, preferably in a dealership environment.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive sales techniques, customer service, and product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs using various training methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training software tools.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations to deliver training programs.
