SUMMARY:

Become a part of our team in Port Coquitlam as a Unified Communications Engineer and contribute significantly to the design, implementation, and management of unified communications solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and implement integrated communication systems that incorporate VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and presence solutions.
  • Set up and manage integrated communication platforms to guarantee they run efficiently, reliably, and securely.
  • Work with teams from different departments to collect needs, create plans, and execute integrated communication projects.
  • Help and troubleshooting support for unified communications issues to end-users and IT teams.
  • Monitor how the system is performing and find ways to make it more efficient and better.
  • Keep yourself informed about the latest developments in unified communications technologies to suggest cutting-edge solutions based on industry trends.
  • Create a reference guide that includes system configurations, installation instructions, and troubleshooting steps, to facilitate knowledge sharing and easy access to information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field of study.
  • Demonstrated track record as a Unified Communications Engineer, with specialized knowledge in the creation and administration of VoIP, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
  • Extensive understanding of unified communications protocols and standards, including SIP.
  • A strong ability in setting up and solving problems with unified communications systems, like Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical parties.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, dedicated to providing top-notch solutions.
  • Having relevant certifications like CCNA or Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate is advantageous.
