SUMMARY:

Merit Services is looking to hire a passionate reporter for its client in Media & News Industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Cultivating sources and General reporting duties.
  •  Write clean, compelling, and accurate copy under tight deadlines.
  •  Produce strong and creative photographs to accompany stories.
  •  Assist with layout production and posting content to the web.

REQUIRED:

  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Strong photography skills are an asset.
  •  The ability to exercise sound journalistic judgment under pressure.
  •  Post-secondary diploma or degree in journalism.
  •  Experience creating video content is an asset.
  •  Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
  •  A valid driver’s license.
