RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work together with in-house teams, outside vendors, and local community members to advance recycling efforts and meet goals for limiting waste.
- Frequently evaluate recycling processes to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and effectively execute appropriate resolutions.
- Observe and assess recycling statistics, generating assessments to gauge the efficiency of the program and pinpoint patterns.
- Deliver expert advice and training to both employees and the local community regarding the most effective recycling procedures.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and innovations in recycling technology to optimize program efficacy.
- Make sure to comply with every environmental law and keep precise documentation.
- Develop and sustain connections with recycling service providers, engaging in discussions to reach agreements and guaranteeing favorable financial outcomes.
- Develop and implement recycling events and initiatives with the aim of involving and informing the community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- An undergraduate degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related area is required. Having relevant certifications can be considered an added advantage.
- Proven track record in creating and overseeing recycling initiatives.
- An extensive understanding of recycling procedures, techniques for waste management, and relevant regulations.
- Outstanding abilities in managing projects, with the efficient capacity to rank tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Having great proficiency in analyzing and finding solutions to problems to recognize chances for enhancement.
- Advanced skills in interpreting and presenting data.
- An enthusiastic interest in environmentally friendly practices.
