SUMMARY:
Merit Services is seeking an experienced Production Worker for our client. As a Production Specialist, you will collect, review, and package automotive parts and components.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow production schedules and work instructions to assemble automotive parts and components.
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including machines, tools, and measuring instruments.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Package finished products according to customer requirements and prepare them for shipment.
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions, defects, or production issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of production equipment and measuring instruments.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and move products and equipment for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
