SUMMARY:


Merit Services is actively seeking an exceptional and driven Frontend Developer to join our esteemed client’s vibrant team in Mississauga. We are in search of a highly skilled professional who is passionate about web development and possesses extensive knowledge in building responsive and user-oriented web applications using cutting-edge frontend technologies. As a Frontend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in helping our client achieve their commercial objectives through your strong analytical acumen, dedication to crafting exceptional user experiences, and expertise in frontend development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into elegant and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Utilize your expertise in frontend technologies to design, develop, and maintain responsive and visually appealing web applications.
  • Implement best practices in frontend development, ensuring high-quality code, performance optimization, and adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to deliver bug-free and user-friendly web applications.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration of designs and efficient user workflows.
  • Stay up to date with the latest frontend frameworks, libraries, and tools, and apply this knowledge to enhance the development process and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to define and integrate APIs for seamless data exchange between the frontend and backend systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and user requirements, translating them into frontend implementation plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Familiarity with frontend build tools.
  • Experience with UI/UX principles and collaborating with designers to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of browser compatibility, performance optimization, and web accessibility standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality code.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
