SUMMARY:
Merit Services is seeking an experienced Financial Planner for one of our clients in Woodbridge. As a Financial Planner, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and develop personalized financial plans to help them achieve those goals. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires exceptional communication skills and a passion for helping clients build and secure their financial futures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct client meetings to evaluate their financial situation and develop personalized financial plans.
- Offer advice and recommendations on investments, securities, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
- Stay up-to-date with financial industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide ongoing financial education and support.
- Collaborate with other financial professionals, such as lawyers and accountants, to provide comprehensive financial advice to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance
- Strong understanding of investment strategies, financial planning, and tax.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of clients.
- Continuous education to stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
