Merit Services is currently in search of a highly qualified Corporate Treasurer to join our prestigious client in Mississauga. We are seeking an individual with exceptional expertise in finance and an impeccable ability to communicate and analyze financial data. As a Corporate Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating financial risks, all while spearheading the growth of our client’s business.


  • Develop and implement the company’s comprehensive financial strategy, encompassing crucial elements such as forecasting, budgeting, and efficient cash flow management.
  • Continuously monitor the financial performance of the company and provide regular reports to the executive team and board of directors, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Identify and assess potential financial risks, offering insightful recommendations and strategies for effective risk mitigation.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions, investment firms, and other financial partners, ensuring fruitful collaborations and advantageous financial arrangements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and standards, safeguarding the company’s compliance and reputation.
  • Optimize the company’s investment portfolio by maximizing returns and minimizing risks through diligent management and informed decision-making.
  • Develop and uphold comprehensive financial policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Lead and supervise the treasury team, overseeing their day-to-day operations and providing guidance to foster productivity and efficiency.


  • • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly preferred, showcasing a commitment to excellence and expertise in the field.
  • Bring in-depth experience of 5+ years in corporate finance, treasury, or a closely related field, demonstrating a track record of success and accomplishment.
  • Exhibit a profound understanding of financial markets, risk management, and investment strategies, enabling strategic decision-making and effective management of financial resources.
  • Showcase exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at dissecting complex financial data and deriving meaningful insights and solutions.
  • Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team, displaying adaptability and a strong work ethic to achieve common objectives.
