INDUSTRY: Pharmaceutical

Summary: Merit Services Ltd. is looking to hire a Bioinformatician for its client in the Pharmaceutical industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

‣ Perform statistical data analysis expertise using R programming, Python or other analysis packages

‣ Run workflows to process and analyze sequencing data develop bioinformatics solutions for the analysis of complex genomic datasets

‣ Provide reports with analysis results and descriptions of methods used

‣ Keep documentation up to date

REQUIRED

‣ At least three years of experience in Bioinformatics

‣ Solid knowledge of Statistical data analysis and data visualization

‣ Unix/Linux knowledge

‣ Good scripting background in python, Perl, or shell

‣ Experience working with NGS Data

‣ Excellent communication skills in English
