CEO, Merit Services, M. Anwar met with the Education Minister, Hon. Stephen Lecce this weekend to discuss educational issues and considerations pertaining to the health and safety measures being taken during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The obvious morning conversation centered on getting our children back to school safely. Both agreed that with current health concerns, assuring that the children go back to a safe and secure educational environment is of the utmost importance.
Minister Lecce, during a news conference at a school in Brampton, Ontario, mentioned that health protocols are being finalized in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the best pediatric minds of the nation. In this regard, a new plan to reopen the Ontario schools in September is expected next week.
“We are looking forward to getting our kids back to school safely to engage in learning and social interaction,” said M. Anwar.
