Merit Services is seeking a Vice President of Technology with full-stack expertise to join our client’s robust team. You will be responsible for leading their technological vision, strategy, and execution. You will oversee all aspects of technology development, implementation, and integration to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives and growth plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology leadership, innovation, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our business goals and drives innovation across all facets of our full-stack architecture.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary technology team, cultivating an environment of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical mastery.
- Drive product innovation and development across the entire technology stack, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for technological enhancements, optimizations, and efficiencies throughout the organization.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and disruptive innovations, leveraging this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and maintain our competitive edge.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key technology partners, vendors, and stakeholders to leverage external expertise and resources effectively.
- Oversee the development and management of the technology budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective solutions across the full technology stack.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in technology and information security, safeguarding our systems and data.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the technology team, empowering them to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving full-stack landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred. Proven experience of 12+ years in a senior technology leadership role, with a track record of success in developing and executing technology strategies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. Deep understanding of technology trends, emerging platforms, and disruptive innovations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on results. Strong expertise with full-stack technologies.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate technology solutions into business value.
