SUMMARY:
Come aboard our team in Lethbridge as a VoIP Engineer and contribute significantly to the design, execution, and maintenance of our Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions. You will collaborate with a skilled team to guarantee the smooth functioning of our communication systems and provide outstanding service to our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create, implement, and support VoIP systems for our customers.
- Set up and enhance VoIP systems to meet performance and reliability standards.
- Work with teams from different departments to incorporate VoIP solutions into the current network setup.
- Offer help and problem-solving aid for VoIP issues, including technical support.
- Continuously monitor system performance and take proactive steps to maintain and enhance optimal performance.
- Upgrade the system and manage patches to fix security weaknesses and improve performance.
- Create and uphold documentation for VoIP setups, methods, and protocols.
- Keep yourself informed about the latest developments and advancements in VoIP communications within the industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related area of study.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating, executing, and sustaining VoIP systems.
- Thorough understanding of VoIP protocols, codecs, and industry standards.
- A strong understanding of VoIP technologies, like SIP, RTP, and SDP, is essential.
- Expertise in using VoIP equipment and software systems such as IP-PBX and SIP trunking.
- Outstanding abilities to solve problems and analyze situations.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Having relevant certifications like CCNA Voice or CCNP Collaboration would be beneficial.
