SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Formulate and sustain recycling program protocols, measures, and directives, guaranteeing adherence to laws and optimal methodologies.

  • Offer instructional programs for staff and residents to enhance their knowledge of recycling techniques and appropriate methods of handling waste.
  • To ensure precision, retain precise records and paperwork associated with recycling initiatives, such as financial plans, agreements, and compliance obligations.
  • Remain informed about the latest developments in the field of recycling and waste management, including emerging technologies and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An undergraduate diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related area. Having appropriate certifications can be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in overseeing recycling initiatives, managing waste, or other relevant positions.
  • Expertise in the recycling mechanisms, techniques for managing waste, and laws related to them.
  • Superior abilities in organization and project management, possessing the proficiency to efficiently handle and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously.
  • This requires a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills to recognize opportunities for program improvements and bring about effective resolutions.
  • Adeptness in deciphering and presenting data.
  • A strong interest in promoting sustainability and minimizing waste.
