SUMMARY:Â
Join us as a Network Installation Technician and help with installing and maintaining network infrastructure for our clients in Kamloops. You will play a vital role in our team, ensuring that network installations are carried out efficiently and effectively to satisfy our customers’ requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up, adjust, and address issues with network equipment and software parts.
- Conduct thorough examinations of the site to evaluate the network infrastructure needs.
- Work together with project managers and engineers to create installation strategies.
- Carry out network installations in line with established standards and best methods.
- Check and confirm the connectivity and performance of the network.
- Offer help and support to customers before and after they install our products.
- Create instructions for installing and keep detailed documentation.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and new technologies in network installations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a program in information technology, computer science, or a similar field leading to a diploma or degree.
- Extensive expertise in setting up and configuring computer networks.
- A comprehensive understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and equipment.
- A good understanding of network diagnostic tools and software.
- Outstanding ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Skilled in effectively communicating and providing excellent customer service.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to customer locations as required.
