RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and care for laser welding machinery in order to create top-notch welds.
- Analyze blueprints, schematics, and engineering sketches to identify the specific welding needs.
- Establish welding parameters and make adjustments to settings based on the material being used and its thickness.
- Observe the welding process closely and make any necessary modifications to ensure the welding is of high quality and precision.
- Examine welded components for imperfections and carry out necessary repairs to ensure compliance with quality criteria.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to solve welding issues and introduce enhancements to the manufacturing process.
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols for creating a safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of high school or a similar qualification.
- Demonstrated history as a welder, with a preference for specific skills in laser welding.
- Understanding and analyzing technical drawings and blueprints with skill and expertise.
- Understanding various methods and tools used in welding.
- Great focus on specifics and the capability to create meticulous and precise welds.
- Exceptional ability to coordinate hand and eye movements and skillfully maneuver with one’s hands.
- Having certification in welding or a related field would be beneficial.
