INDUSTRY: AUTOMOTIVE

SUMMARY: 

Merit Services is seeking an Welder to join our client’s dynamic team a in Bolton. As a skilled Welder, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and precision of various projects. Your welding proficiency and attention to detail will be instrumental in delivering products that meet industry standards and client expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Follow all safe work practices
  •  Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding)
  •  Welds and assembles metal components
  •  Use a disc grinder to smooth out, weld, or grind parts prior to welding
  •  Examine weld for bead size and other specifications
  •  Must know how to use the torch

REQUIRED:

  •  Some experience working as a welder
  •  Highly safety conscious
  •  Focused, with good attention to detail.
  •  Safety behaviors, work ethic, and initiative.
  •  Understand and apply welding techniques, and work quickly and skillfully with the hands.
