Job Description

We have immediate, Full-time openings for either dayshifts or night shifts.

Duties include:

  • Porter-transferring residents to onsite programming, dining rooms, family visits, and other areas as requested or needed.
  • Assisting Personal Support Workers and registered staff to provide personal care related services, assisting with bathing, dressing lifts, and transfers
  • Performing some housekeeping tasks such as bed-making, changing linens, daily cleaning tasks, sanitizing surfaces, etc
  • Perform some nutrition aide duties such as delivering food carts, guiding and encouraging residents throughout meals, setting and clearing the dining room.
  • Communicating with residents, families, and visitors with professionalism and positivity.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with seniors in a Long-Term Care or Retirement environment is preferred

Start date: immediate positions available

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: $19.00 per hour
