RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and join community events, seminars, and talks that aim to inform and involve the public in adopting effective recycling methods.
  • Working together with educational institutions, companies, and local groups to boost recycling initiatives and establish collaborative efforts.
  • Develop and circulate educational resources, such as pamphlets, bulletins, and online content, to educate and motivate the populace.
  • Conduct evaluations and surveys to assess the efficacy of outreach activities and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
  • Build connections with nearby media organizations, so as to guarantee a spotlight on recycling efforts and enhance their public exposure.
  • Act as a liaison for community members seeking information and assistance on recycling initiatives.
  • Keep yourself informed about the latest developments in recycling outreach and community engagement by following industry trends and advancements in emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Work together with teams within the organization to ensure that the outreach initiatives are in line with the broader objectives of sustainability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience that is applicable may be accepted in place of formal schooling.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in community engagement, communication, or comparable positions.
  • A profound understanding of the recycling procedures, strategies for waste disposal, and the fundamental principles of sustaining the environment.
  • Remarkable aptitude in written and oral communication, demonstrating the capacity to proficiently connect and motivate heterogeneous listeners.

  • Effective abilities in organizing and managing projects to devise and carry out outreach campaigns.
