RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage in cooperation with stakeholders to gain comprehension of project necessities, operational detailing, and standards for final approval.
- Create detailed testing strategies, testing scenarios, and testing codes by considering the project’s needs and design records.
- Smartly perform different types of testing, such as functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing, by carrying out test cases.
- Efficiently detect, monitor, and document software flaws, guaranteeing that they are promptly addressed.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of the underlying causes and actively contribute towards identifying and implementing measures to prevent recurrence of the problem.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with developers and other relevant parties to tackle quality concerns and promote enhancements in procedures.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Keep yourself informed about the latest industry standards and upcoming trends in software quality assurance.
- Keep a record of test results and regularly update project stakeholders on the progress with status reports.
- Work together with teams from different departments to guarantee the prompt and successful release of exceptional software solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in the role of Quality Assurance Analyst, Software Tester, or a comparable position.
- Extensive understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and procedures.
- I have expertise in developing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Extensive comprehension of both the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- One possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating great attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, demonstrating effectiveness in collaborating with others.
- It is preferred to have relevant certifications like ISTQB or CSTE.
