RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Smart cost-saving opportunities should be identified and put into action to enhance procurement spend efficiency, while preserving quality and timely delivery.
  • Make certain that the regulations and rules regarding procurement, along with relevant legal mandates, are observed.
  • Ensure precise records of procurement are kept, encompassing contracts, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
  • Remain informed about the latest developments in the industry, market situations, and up-and-coming technologies in order to promote innovation and generate valuable outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A suitable educational background for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in fields like business, supply chain management, or any other discipline related to it.
  • A track record of successful procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management expertise.
  • Excellent familiarity with procurement procedures, bargaining agreements, and supplier assessment.
  • Mastery in utilizing procurement software and equipment.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and foster strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data, recognizing patterns, and utilizing those insights to make informed decisions based on actual data.
  • Effective ability to negotiate and persuade in order to attain desired results.
  • Possessing exceptional abilities in organization, time management and attention to details.
