SUMMARY:

As a Product Manager, you will be at the heart of our product strategy and development. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Conceptualize and formalize brand strategy with clear product positioning, target audience, pricing, packaging, copywriting, and profitability measures that maximize company sales and profits
  •  Develop a clear project brief for all outside and inside partners
  •  Understand brand vision and its role in delivering on the end benefit
  •  Communicate clearly with suppliers from overseas
  •  Lead the creative process within the marketing department to develop packaging and supporting marketing materials
  •  Develop proactive strategies to sustain and grow brands and achieve company sales objectives
  •  Continuously seek to update, advance and improve brands so as to ensure ongoing consumer interest
  •  Liaison with the Sales team
  •  Active awareness and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth
  •  Custom product development
  •  Review all major deliverables
  •  Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed
  •  Efficient, organized & time-sensitive project execution

REQUIRED:

  •  Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field
  •  5+ years experience in Product Development role within a similar industry (Beauty & Cosmetics)
  •  Experience working within a fast-paced, exciting, entrepreneurial environment
  •  Proven track record in launching, nurturing, and growing strong brands through their complete life cycle
  •  Strong understanding of financials and ability to analyze figures to determine profitability, sales trends, etc.
  •  Motivated and goal-oriented
  •  Strong product sourcing ability with overseas supplier/factories, product specification, and quoting
  •  Excellent written and oral communication skills
  •  Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  •  Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
