Merit Services is seeking an experienced Parts Manager for our client. An ideal individual for the position must possess exceptional communication and organizational abilities, a thorough comprehension of auto elements and supplements, and a verified history of effective sales and stock control.
- Manage the inventory of parts and accessories, ensuring adequate levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels based on sales data and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and accessories.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product recommendations.
- Hire, train, and manage a team of parts sales representatives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in parts sales or management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, including current industry trends.
