SUMMARY:
Merit Services is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Medical Radiography Technologist for our client. Selected candidates will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays, CT, and other medical imaging equipment, ensuring the highest quality in patient care and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare patients for medical imaging procedures, explain them, and answer their questions.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Assess image quality and clarity, identify problems, and resolve them as necessary.
- Accurate and complete documentation of patient information and imaging findings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot medical imaging equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Collaborates with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Accompanying medical photographers in training and assistance in evaluating their performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiography Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Medical Radiography Technologist in a clinical environment.
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of [insert province/territory].
- Excellent knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to medical imaging equipment and radiation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
