INDUSTRY: Automotive

SUMMARY:

Merit Services is seeking experienced Material Handlers for our client. The incumbent is responsible for promptly and effectively transferring materials and supplies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fill orders by gathering the required materials, packaging them, and getting them ready to ship.
  • Place things in the proper locations.
  • Organize and catalogue your goods using regularly updated records.
  • Use equipment like forklifts and cranes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and suggest purchases when supplies are low. Adhere to safety rules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Physical ability to routinely lift large objects.
  • Agility to spending a lot of time walking and standing.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities.
  • Both written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Ability to use extensive machinery.
  • Excellent time management skills.
