SUMMARY:

Merit Services is seeking a Junior Marketing Coordinator for our client. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to execute different strategies through diverse platforms such as email, social media, and events. As an ideal candidate, you should possess a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a burning passion for enhancing and honing your marketing capabilities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing plans and strategies.
  • Develop content and creative assets for a range of marketing materials, such as print and digital advertisements, social posts, blog posts, email campaigns.
  • Assist in the implementation and tracking of marketing campaigns through the use of marketing automation tools and technologies.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, such as trade shows, webinars and industry meet-ups.
  • Conduct market research to support product development and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and track performance metrics to determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with market trends, emerging technologies, and new marketing strategies.
  • Develop marketing reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as sales teams and agencies, to ensure a cohesive approach to marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related area at the bachelor’s level.
  • An adeptness in handling diverse projects and priorities is expected from the candidate with a background of 2-3 years of experience in a related position.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Having prior experience using marketing automation tools like HubSpot, Market, or Pardot is advantageous.
  • Effective management of one’s schedule and ability to maintain structure within a group or company.
  • A high level of skill in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Having prior knowledge and practice in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, would be considered an added advantage.
