SUMMARY:
Merit Services is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer for our client. The individual who secures the position will have the duty of creating and experimenting with electrical systems for the field of automotive technology. The job necessitates a profound comprehension of the fundamentals of electrical engineering and a sincere enthusiasm for the field of automobiles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create, build, and verify electrical components suitable for automobile usage.
- Engage in collaboration with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers to guarantee triumphant project achievement.
- Generate and scrutinize blueprints, circuit diagrams, and additional electrical records.
- Engage in design evaluations to detect and resolve potential concerns.
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting on electrical systems and their components through experimentation and examination on a test bench.
- Help in the creation of fresh merchandise and enhancements to already existing inventory.
- Resolve electrical system problems and offer technical assistance to clients and in-house teams.
- Keep yourself updated on the recent developments, conventions, and superior methods concerning electrical systems in the automotive sector.
- Take part in the activities of project planning and scheduling.
- Create necessary technical documentation such as reports, presentations, and other relevant materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and components, including battery systems, power distribution, and control systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug electrical systems and components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
