SUMMARY:
Merit Services is looking for an experienced HVAC technician for our client in the cannabis industry. The candidate will be responsible for safely and effectively installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, split systems, and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment through regular inspections, tests, and maintenance.
- Responds to emergency calls and troubleshoots air conditioning systems.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance, including parts used and services performed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment while complying with occupational health and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A minimum of a years of experience as an HVAC technician.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems, preferably in an authorized pharmaceutical or food facility.
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to the installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• General secondary school certificate or equivalent.
• Must be willing to submit background checks.
