SUMMARY:

Merit Services is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer (React / Node JS) for our client. The incumbent will skilled in both front-end and back-end development. They can construct completely functional platforms with servers or databases and maintain them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participating in the creation of scalable software. Creating clean, practical code for both the front-end and the back-end.
  • Verifying for errors and fixing any coding issues.
  • Collaborate with software development teams and product managers to develop solutions.
  • Create a server-side and client-side architecture.
  • Create and maintain effective databases and applications.
  • Create efficient APIs. Test the APIs for responsiveness and effectiveness.
  • Upgrade, debug, and troubleshoot software.
  • Setting up security and data protection.
  • Improve software in collaboration with data scientists and analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An associate’s degree in statistics, computer science, programming, software development, or a related subject.
  • At least three years of development expertise, preferably with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of front-end programming languages including HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
  • Programming knowledge of Python, Ruby, and PHP for the back end.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design, web servers like Apache, and databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Analytical mind with an excellent focus to details.
