SUMMARY:
Join Merit Services client as an Equity Research Analyst and help our clients achieve their financial goals. Based in Concord, as an Equity Research Analyst you’ll be responsible for providing investment recommendations by analyzing market trends and company financials. As a critical member of our team, you’ll use your expertise to provide insightful and accurate guidance to our clients
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of companies and businesses to identify investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements and other data to assess the financial health of companies.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance.
- Prepare reports and investment recommendations based on your analysis.
- Collaborate with other analysts, portfolio managers, and traders to develop and execute investment strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of investments, making adjustments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in equity analysis or related fields.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and use it to make informed investment recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation methods, with the ability to develop and maintain financial models.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
