Job Description

Requirements:

  • A commitment to client’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be committed to and passionate about high food standards and service
  • Experienced in culinary and administrative responsibilities of a kitchen
  • Be able to follow structure and guidelines
  • Have proven experience as a cook
  • Have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Be willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Possess a valid food handler’s card
  • Have experience working in a high-volume kitchen
