Job Description
Requirements:
- A commitment to client’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
The ideal candidate will:
- Be committed to and passionate about high food standards and service
- Experienced in culinary and administrative responsibilities of a kitchen
- Be able to follow structure and guidelines
- Have proven experience as a cook
- Have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Be willing to work weekends and holidays
- Possess a valid food handler’s card
- Have experience working in a high-volume kitchen
