RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing work areas, supplies, and equipment to ensure that the job site is ready for construction activities.
- Cleaning up waste, hazardous chemicals, and trash from the site to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, temporary buildings, and roadblocks to facilitate the construction process.
- Assisting other contractors, such as painters and electricians, with their tasks to ensure that the project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Creating shafts, tunnels, and holes using specialized tools and equipment to meet project requirements.
- Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete to create a strong and stable foundation for the building.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- While a high school diploma is preferred, no formal education is required. However, candidates with vocational training or prior experience in the construction industry may have an advantage.
- Experience in a similar job or with related skills is desirable and may demonstrate familiarity with construction site procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaboration and patience are essential qualities in a Construction Worker, as the job involves working in a team environment and following instructions from supervisors.
