SUMMARY:
Merit Services is seeking a Construction Estimator for our client. The incumbent’s main duty will be to create precise approximations of construction ventures. Your collaboration with project managers and fellow team members will be crucial in achieving the timely and precise completion of all estimates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and evaluate construction project cost assessments utilizing plans, specifications, and pertinent data.
- Assess project boundaries, identify necessary resources such as materials, workforce, and tools, and estimate monetary expenditures.
- To ascertain precise and all-encompassing estimations, gather bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Create and present bids to customers, guaranteeing that all quotes are both cost-effective and in line with project specifications.
- Work together with project managers and colleagues to ensure timely and high-quality completion of all estimations.
- It is crucial to keep precise documentation of estimations, expenses, and any other pertinent data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a field that is closely associated.
- Having been a Construction Estimator for over 3 years.
- Skilled in utilizing software for estimating constructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional abilities in communication and interacting with others.
