Exciting Position at Merit Services!

We are hiring an energetic, dynamic, and ambitious Business Developer to help us expand our clientele for our Head Office in Vaughan (ON)

Start date: Immediately

The responsibilities in this role include:

  • Assist in the development of a growth strategy oriented to the company’s success in the staffing industry
  • Lead generation for Merit Services staffing requirements
  • Conduction of research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Advertisement and promotion of our staffing services through cold calling, emails, social media, website improvement, and job fairs
  • Bring the job orders from clients and forward to the human resources
  • Assist with recruitment need analysis, screening, interviewing and shortlist potential candidates
  • Arrangement of business meetings with prospective clients
  • Assist with creation/editing of high-quality content (videos, photos, stories…) that could offer extra value to potential clients.
  • Event coordination and execution
  • Other administrative and HR duties involved

About the requirements to succeed in this role:

  • Business Graduate in specialized in marketing, sales, business management.
  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extraordinary customer service skills and business development skills
  • Demonstration of excellent B2B sales and ability to successfully close deals
  • Worked on software like Zendesk, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc would be an asset (will be trained)
  • Previous experience in sales and lead generation (cold calling or similar would be an asset)
