Our client in Toronto is seeking a skilled candidate who can bring their expertise and experience to a dynamic and innovative team. As a Bookkeeper with our client, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Whether you’re processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, or preparing financial reports, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact and contribute to the success of our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recording financial transactions accurately and maintaining precise records for clients.
- Preparing financial statements and reports to provide clients with the information they need to make informed decisions.
- Reconciling bank statements and accounts to ensure that financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payment and collection of funds.
- Preparing and filing tax returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Communicating with clients to gather information and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and accounting standards to ensure that clients receive accurate and relevant advice.
Qualification:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
