Researches the internet, company databases and (company purchased) Hoovers for contact information. This information includes the proper company name, address, telephone number, number of employees and sometimes the contact title/ name.
Creates clear and concise excel spreadsheets with cold-calling information for the Business Development Executives
Enters suspect and prospect information post cold-calling results into the Business Development database
Appointment-setting for outside sales teams
Tracking of all activities through CRM database
Routine surveys of current clients
Clear and friendly phone voice
Strong drive for continuous improvement and to meet and exceed goals
Must be a team player with ability to build relationships with clients and staff
Excellent work ethic and work history
Strong phone/telemarketing skills
Prior experience working in the travel industry is preferred, but not required.
